ingredients

Filling

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 – .87 oz. pk.   gravy mix ( follow the directions on the back)
  • 1/2 lb. baby bella sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup onions diced
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 12 oz frozen peas and carrots
  • salt and pepper to taste

Mash potatoes

  • 2 each russet potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup warm milk as need it
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • salt and pepper as need it
directions

Filling

  • heat olive oil in saute pan
  • add ground beef, onions, and salt and pepper
  • saute until all pink is cooked out of beef and drain
  • mix with gravy, peas and carrots
  • evenly portion into 6 buttered ramekins
  • top with mash potatoes

Mash potatoes

  • boil potatoes until done
  • drain water and add milk and butter
  • mash potatoes
  • top  beef filling for cottage pie
