Time Saved - 8 Mins Ingredients
  • 1 pkg. (approx. 20 oz.) of pre-made sugar cookie dough
  • 2 pkgs. (3 oz.) of cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp. of powered sugar
  • 2 tsp. of fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. of vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ c. of sliced strawberries
  • 3 kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced
  • ½ c. of blueberries
  • ½ c. of green grapes
  • ½ c. of raspberries or blackberries

Instructions

This is a great dessert for an all pizza party. Easy enough to let the kids help in making it.

Turn Turbochef oven on and under ‘Bake’ on the cook wheel, select ‘COOKBOOK’ then under cookbook, select ‘Dessert Pizza’. Press ‘START’ to begin the preheat cycle.

To prepare pizza, press out refrigerated cookie dough into an 11” circle or top of a 12” round pizza pan building up a ‘lip’ of dough around the edge. Cookie dough expands during baking so allow about an inch around the outside of the pan. Bake under ‘dessert pizza’ setting for 6 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.

Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread sweetened cream cheese ‘sauce’ over the cookie dough ‘pizza shell’. Arrange fruit attractively over pizza shell, starting from the outside and moving toward the center. Brush glaze over fruit. Serve immediately or refrigerate up to 2 hours.

Glaze:
Mix 5 tablespoons powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon water, 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice and 1 ½ teaspoons of cornstarch in a small sauce pan. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. When glaze becomes transparent and is no longer cloudy (about 1 minute) remove from heat. Cool. Brush glaze over fruit to secure the fruit in position.
